Cooking with Flying Pink Elephants

It started with a cookery book.

Progressed to a mixing bowl.

Then a chopping board.

A frying pan.

And a baking tray.

Two hours later.

Don't forget the washing up!

bit of a small dinner wasn't it ;o)

looks divine - what did you do with the carrotts ?

Hello spangleystar

I don't do small dinners! It was an epic.

Just emailed you about the carrots in cider and mustard sauce. Dead easy and dead tasty.

what did you make? Looks really yummy!

Hello Rebecca

The 2 hour meal consisted of roast chicken, roast potatoes, parsnips, mushroom and onion stuffing, carrots in a cider and mustard sauce and Yorkshire pudding. It was worth the wait!

looks yummy!
cleanup and putting away leftovers in storage containers are the not-so-fun part of cooking for me.

Wow, that looks absolutely delicious even though I have no idea what it is ... LOL!

Hi Amel

How are things with you?

Glad you liked the cooking with Flying Pink Elephants.

That is the worst bit I must admit, the washing up! Luckily my mother has a dish washer, but I was cooking at a friends and I was the dishwasher! I couldn't leave the kitchen in a mess though.

Hello Krystle

It was rather tasty, if I do say so myself. And nice to experiment with food I have never tried before.

Be over to you soon.

Hello Jyankee

Shall we swap dishes one day?!

See you soon.

Hello Seagrape

You're right, the cooking and eating was fun, but clearing up is not so fun! I must have used about every cooking utensil as well! It took forever...

Hello Nick

I'll give you a little idea of what the meal was - the Sunday roast. Roast chicken, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, carrots in a cider and mustard sauce, mushroom and onion stuffing and Yorkshire pudding.
I did not go to bed hungry that night!

Your photos make the mundane things look cozy and loving. I need to look at doing my dishes through the camera's eyes. It might make it fun!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. Our mountains are now coated with snow again, but it feels warm. I'm lost in my closet trying to figure it all out!

Hi Travelinoma

Snow again? I hope your not wearing your sandals?!

The washing up photo looks far nicer than the chore! Nice to hear you think my photos are cosy and loving though. I like that description!

Glad you like the pics, La Delirante

The pics were taken at a friends, using my friends equipment, but I agree, it's a cute chopping board.

Have a great weekend!
